Richard was schooled in private schools in New England, including Taft, a nd graduated from Dartmouth College with the class of 1951. He graduate d from Tuck Scool of Finance immediately following undergraduate school . He served in the Army for a couple of years and worked most of his lif e for Chemical Bank in New York City as an auditor. He was an excellent t ennis and squash player in his youth and as a serior adult.

He married rather late in life, about 1979 or 1980 to Deborah from, I be lieve, Hilton Head, South Carolina. Maiden name unknown, but she still li ves in Rye, New York (2002)

He died of pneumonia after a long siege with dimentia and Alzheimer's di sease. [S1062]
