George M. Weister first appears in the Portland City Directory in 1888, w
orking as a photogra er for the same company. By 1892 he is the manage
r of the company, apparently after the deat nd deals in photo and lanter
n supplies. He married the artist Alice Aubrey in 1895. In 1894 r and o
