Martha attended Bemidji State University 1958-9 to become a teacher. He r teaching career was interrupted by marriage to Bud in 1959. [S713]
Bud logged and starting in the fall of 1988, he started his saw mill oper ation for which Martha does the bookkeeping. Martha has been active in c hild care since about 1981. In addition, to Martha garden, their land an d property has always appeared to be a small zoo or a miniture Noak's Ark . In the summer of1994, they started an elk ranch. [S713]
During their entire married life they attended the Tenstrike Cummunity Ch urch. Martha taught Sunday school for all of these years and taught in t he Missionette program for girls for five years. Bud served as a churc h Elder for 18 years starting in1962 and as usher for almost all of thes e years. [S713]
